Translating and Interpreting Services

The Department of Immigration and Multicultural Affairs, provides a Translating and Interpreting Service for non-English speakers and for English speakers needing to communicate with them. The Translating and Interpreting Service has offices in each State and Territory and is available to any person or organisation in Australia requiring interpreting or translating services. The service operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and is accessible from anywhere in Australia for the cost of a local call.
